Thankful for all of the partnerships and support!

It is hard to believe 2021 is drawing to an end. So far Elk has had ten group litter pick up events and another is scheduled for November.

Thankful to the P.A.L.s (Partners Against Litter) who hosted events: The Refuge Church, The Kannapolis Edward Jones Office, Charity Baptist Church, New Hope Lutheran Church, and City Revival Church (scheduled for November).

Also, Bryan Surratt Allstate Insurance, Hope Chapel, Fire Station #3, North Kannapolis Elementary School, and Concord Lake STEAM Academy have worked with us or offered parking for volunteers.

We cannot thank Margret Young with the City of Kannapolis who has been very accommodating enough! In addition, Nicole Austin with the NCDOT has been supportive.

Of course, the volunteers who sacrifice time out of their Saturday mornings to clean up other's litter are our heroes! Every volunteer makes a difference. Special thanks to Tari Comer, Sylvia Slaughter, and Deb Triece who have been involved from inception and faithfully volunteer.
