LeNay Turnage

LeNay has distinguished herself through her genuine passion for community service. Rather than serving simply to fulfill a requirement, she actively seeks opportunities that have purpose and impact, consistently going above and beyond what is expected.

When others contribute an hour or two, she is the type of volunteer that shows up before the event starts and stays until the very conclusion. Her dedication reflects a servant’s heart, and a sincere desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

LeNay Possesses a quiet strength in her leadership. She leads by example, inspiring those around her through her actions rather than seeking recognition. She was a leader in A. L. Brown’s Science Club, Beta Club, Link Crew, and many volunteer efforts. Academically LeNay excels across multiple disciplines, demonstrating both critical thinking and creativity. She will be pursuing a degree in agriculture in the fall.

She has volunteered many hours with ELK and exemplifies the values that ELK seeks to encourage in every Volunteer: Service, leadership, humility, and commitment to improve the lives of others.
