April 15th 2023 Group event


Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers there are 17 bags and other large items off the streets! Go Elk volunteers! Special thanks to the A.L. Brown Beta club for the volunteer hours. We also thank our sponsors. Both the Dollar General (on China Grove Rd) and E. Craig Porter (Edward Jones Financial Advisor) sponsored the refreshments for volunteers after the event. Thanks to all!

Our scheduled road, Concord Lake, was cleaned by the NCDOT. They did a great job as it was a mess. As a result we are moving our April 15th group litter pick up event to Charity Baptist Church at 2420

The NCDOT Spring litter sweep will be April 15th through the 29th. The spring and fall litter sweeps are great ways to get involved without much of a commitment. If you are interested check out NCDO
