The forecast is not great but rain or shine the E.L.K. Initiative will be meeting in the parking lot of North Kannapolis Elementary School. The school is at the corner of Main street and West 8th. We will meet and receive supplies and then walk the 1.1 miles to West 8th and Mountain street, cleaning along the way. We will safely cross the street and walk back the 1.1 miles (cleaning along the way) back to the school parking lot to drop off bagged trash and return supplies. Thank you to the 14 volunteers who have signed the waiver and are ready to make a difference!
