Pitch in to the Fall NCDOT Litter Sweep. Residents throughout the state participate in local efforts to help clean up NC roadways. Volunteers are provided cleanup supplies, such as safety vest, gloves, and trash bags. In addition the NCDOT will remove collected litter.

For volunteers who lead an event, supplies are picked up at the NCDOT Mt. Pleasant location (150 Dutch Rd, Mt. Pleasant NC 28124).
Volunteers may also join the E.L.K. September 18th event where supplies will be provided.
